OASIS was formed in 1981 by John Balch to fill the need for an independent furniture systems installation company in the Pacific Northwest. Before the formation of OASIS, all furniture installation firms in the region were either associated with a furniture manufacturer or a dealer. Mr. Balch had the foresight to seize the opportunity for a service that would allow businesses/corporations (no matter which furniture product line they purchased) to install or reconfigure any system. For the first 10 years, this was the core service that OASIS provided. In 1991 we added project management to our core services. OASIS continues to manage tenant improvement projects, relocation efforts and facility support services across the nation. In 1999, we added several new core services: space planning, CAD, facility management and corporate relocation as well as long-term storage and asset management.

OASIS focuses on being a facility services provider of choice and a recognized industry leader in the markets we serve. OASIS builds mutually beneficial relationships with our employees and families, our customers, and our suppliers. As a member of Facilities Services Network, OASIS is dedicated to identifying, developing and implementing best practices for every aspect of the facility services and furniture specialties.

With the rapid changes in markets these days, companies are adding and closing at a pace that often leaves them understaffed or with insufficient resources to deal with their core business. OASIS has been a quality outsource firm to help manage staffing resources as well as professionally manage projects for the lowest total cost.

With over 29 years of experience in providing solutions, OASIS is an extension of our clients’ businesses. OASIS represents our clients through planning; budgeting and alternative analysis; design and furniture installations; and corporate relocations.
